Damn near knock the mailman down as I saw him entering the yard with my package from The Knife Connection.com. My NEW Rat RC 3 Mil is outstanding in every way and since I am a lefty I can switch the sheath around to accommodate my left side. I have already taken it apart and tried the different attachments, I still do not know which way I will wear but at least I have many many options. I am one happy camper.

Just wanted to thank Dale from The Knife Connection,com for dealing with my many questions and phone calls since I was torn between the RC 3 and the RC 4 the majority of my knife use will be hiking/survival skills and of course deer season.

Thanks to all of the Rat Nation with all of their very helpful Threads also.

Mailmen don't get paid enough for delivering to RAT customers. I about gave mine a flying head scissor yesterday to get my RAT Pack with and RC-6.

All these RC-3MIL threads lately and no pics. Tisk tisk.

Sweet, I just got mine about 2 weeks ago and I love it! It's more than likely going to replace my Izula as my EDC. Congrats on your new RC-3MIL!
 
Rat customers are like rabid dogs. They should make us post a sign to forewarn mailmen that we might be "UNABLE TO CONTAIN OUR EXCITEMENT".

You know the glass breaker is sorta a waste considered as tough as the things are you could use just about any part of it to shatter a window :)

Great knife and picks. I recently got the RC5 -arrived today, but I already have the Izula, and RC3 & RC4 headed in as well, just can't wait.

According to Jeff Randall, he tried to shatter a window trying to get to someone in a car and he had a regular RC3 and it couldnt be done.
 
yup, car windows can be a very finnicky thing. Slam them with a baseball bat, aluminum or wood, with all your might and they might not break. Push a little BB against them with your thumb and they might shatter.

You basically want the most PSI you can get on it. Sharpening the point increases the PSI on it.

The MIL has a different (Canvas instead of linen) micarta, a black blade combined with a light grey/green colored (not green like the "normal" black bladed RC-3) handle, features a sharpened glass breaker pommel with an engraved serial#, and finally it comes with a complete MOLLE set (MOLLE back and locks) plus boot clip. The color of the sheath system is green instead of that puke...eh coyote brown.
