its a custom built slingshot road bike. THe unique thing about this bike is that the down tube is missing and is a cable on a spring with a pivot hinge at the intersection of the top tube and bottom tube. The geometry works that when you stomp on the pedals the bike compresses on the spring and pivot hinge and bounces your torque through the drive train. It works like a dream I was humming along at a effortless 22mph tonite no problem..

Its sporting Rolf Vector wheel set with a alpha Q carbon fiber front fork and a ultegrea 9 speed triple drive train giving the rider a whopping 27 gears to choose from..It climbs like a billy goat...

I'd like to know more about this "effortless 22 mph" with this spring bouncy thingamajig! :D

Looks nice... Definetly more race oriented than the 27 in 10 speeds I've been wanting to buy! :cool:
 
I went to open the picture and look at the mad road macine, but was blinded by a dayglo blob! Can you give me a written description of colors and what not?

I've seen these critters around here and there, but never had a chance to ride one. Most folks look at em' and say.."Uh, what's wrong with that?"

Hehe- of course, when they see my home-built recumbent, they just stare....
 
I don't undsterstand this.
I love bikes that are a little different and would like to know more about it though. My ride is nice but it's normal

Ok, I'll be nice. Very nice looking bike. I need to get mine out, since I'm now over 250 lbs.
