SO I got an Eskabar yesterday just because. I added some jimping on the spine, and on the pommel. I got these ideas here on the forum, I take no credit, but am too lazy to look up where I found them to give proper credit. I then stripped the paint, gave it a quick polish, and gave it a hot blueing. It looks almost black again in the pics, but it's a really nice blue with a touch of iridescence. I think I'll try and make some scales out of some black walnut I have lying around. We'll see how that goes.
