After a lot of recommendations from the members here, I contacted Azwelke about a custom kydex sheath for my 14.

Well, after making a quick trip from AZ to to Brooklyn (where my sister lives) and then a rather longer one to Hamburg, Germany (where I live), it finally arrived at my doorstep this morning! :)

Here it is rangerbanded up with my mini photon light on one side and a small fero rod on the other.

All I can say is, if anyone is in the market for a new sheath, on this forum, take a look at his work, it's topnotch! Super light, hangs well (necker) and fits the blade really well!

Thanks for looking.

Thanks man! :)

It prolly took a boat or something! :D

Just glad I got it and customs didn't!

Looks great.

I love my 14 and use it every day but the sheath is something I am planning on replacing as well.

Thanks. This sheath makes a world of difference worn as a necker, doesn't feel like wearing a badge under my shirt anymore!

I'm consistently impressed with his work. Very cool. I gotta hit him up for one for my 11&2.

Yeah, will definitely hit him up again for another sheath soon!

Glad to hear the sheath made it to you, and real happy to hear you like it! Thank you all for all the kind words!

Nice stuff. Azwelke, I think I might be contacting you soon about some Kydex pajamas for a ZK Warsword...

Awesome sheath, I might have to come and murder you in your sleep, that's how sweet it is.

:D

Has anyone added a belt clip to one of these? I have the same sheath but carry the knife in my front pocket most of the time, I'd like to attach it to my belt.

My Tek Lok fits it, just get the small one as the big one is too massive for it. (still fits it though)

Very nice sheath!! I'll look into one for myself!!!

Thanks! Yes, it really good, been wearing it since I got it and don't even notice it around my neck anymore!

So how are you liking the sheath after having it a while? I'm really thinking about ordering one in the next few days but cant make up my mind.

Does the sheath retain well upside down? I want to neck carry mine every day.

Is it lighter, quieter? my stock sheath rattles a lot.

I first found Al by buying this sheath for my Eskabar on eBay.
Yes, it retains very well, no rattle, slightly lighter, narrower, all around aces.

I later had him make a similar "taco" sheath for an oddball necker (Meyerco Law Dog) which I've worn daily for a couple of months now, also just perfect.

Even though I'm not sure I'll EDC them, have two more that would greatly benefit from his custom sheaths and probably will send them along to him in time.

Highly recommended, can't see how you wouldn't be well pleased.
