My new bk16 and bk14

The mail man just delivered me a great package, a bk14 and a bk16. first thoughts are the 16 can definetly use some liners but all in all i really like it. the handle shape and contours are great and just a little thicker it would be perfect. the size of the blade is perfect for almost everything. the sheath seems very high quality and thought out. i would still like a kydex for the slim profile but i do really like this sheath i thought it was going to be too big for the knife but in hand the sheath is nicely sized. this bad boy will be getting some use and will be my main user knife, i really like it.

And the 14 is also very nice, i still like the 11 more because of its unique design, but the 14 does offer a better grip allowing "almost" a full 4 finger grip. And if i had to choose to use either the 11 or 14 for a longer period of time the 14 would win in that regards, but honestly if im doing anything with a knife for extended periods i wouldnt use either the 14 or the 11, id grab the 16!

Both knives are very nice and im extreamly happy with them. Id like to thanks Moose for an excellent trade i couldnt be happier and these make me way happier than the esee 6. The bk16 in hand definetly feels like a knife for ME.

congrats on the new knives! I just got a 14 too, It cuts better stripped. I have a 16 too and it is great.

I wont be stripping this one until the coating is pretty much worn off from use but i noticed my 11 cut better stripped but i missed the black blade so im going to keep this black as long as possible.

Do it!!! They are great blades, i havent been dissapointed by any of the becker line so far. i have the bk2 the bk9 bk11 bk13 and bk14 all great! even the little 13, its real small but sharp as a straight razor and easily sharpened

Definetly. it was growing on me for quite a while and is defintely a wise choice. It was well thought out and executed and now i see why Ethan says it was the knife he was searching for.

It competes with knives $50+ more expensive, easily. By far my favorite knife that size that I own or have even used. Unless you have Warrior sized mitts you wont't be disappointed.
