I just got my first Benchmade 42 Balisong from the Butterfly Knife Exchange! It's a first production BM42AS. It has 463/500 on the handle. It is very nice.

Nice knife and nice pic. Still waiting for my BM42A. Not a preproduction model but hey it's there and should beat the handles (hopefully not literally) off my Bear.

Yes your're right it looks like the blade is gold. But that's probably just the reflection due to the angle and background. It has a nice effect to it.

I have a trnechcoat but I dont wear it. Now especially after Columbine and such, it dosent look good for teenagers like me to have a knife and trenchcoat.
