After reading all of the posts here a few weeks ago, you guys managed to rekindle my interest in Balis. I already own a few PC's and a couple of vintage BM's that I bought many moons ago, but last week I finally broke down and bought a new BM42s (I like serrations)and it arrived two days ago. I'm very happy with it. Fit, finish, and function are all top notch. I love the lighter weight of it, which speeds up the moves substantially. Right out of the box I began flipping it, and it feels quite natural. I feel no need to tweak it in order to imrove it's motion whatsoever. While I much prefer the charm and quality of the older BM's and PC's, this new 42s is a keeper as well as my new daily flipper. Thanks for convincing me to get one, guys! The BM42 really is all that it's cracked up to be. If you don't already have one, GET ONE and join the fun.

I'm happy that you like the 42S!! Just curious, what other balisongs do you have (model numbers, pictures etc)?
I have a BM 42, 30S, 45 2nd, 45SHD (the HD means it has HARLEY-DAVIDSON inked on the blade, and I hope I can find a used BM 44 and a used International Series (hopefully from the same person).

Greeting All, I just got myself a BM 42AS on Thursday. My first Bali-song. Very well executed knife from BM. These things sure are a lot of fun to play with.
