i have been admiring pits for so long. its just a cool ass design and looks to be very functional also. well the other day i found one in the classifieds and scooped it up. got here today. i have no pictures as of yet because the wifey is out of town w/ my little one. anyways i digress. i got it earlier today and man i can't put this monster down. it is just a freaking awesome blade. fits the hand great, very filling and comfortable. i have been batoning, carving, doing food prep and man its a great knife. mine needs to be sharpened up a bit but thats no big deal considering it was used.

i just had to post this so if anyone was on the fence about it. i will update this post in a couple days with some pics. and some woods bumming with it. i can't wait. i am sure you guys have seen a ton of pits and mine is no different. also it comes with a very solid well build little leather sheath. only thing i would like to add is a fire steel loop.

mark one question sir whats the edge angle set at on these?

again great product sir i am super pleased with it. keep up the great work sir.

The angle is different than the typical 12 degree edge. I think its close to 16-18 degrees. I do this because I assume this knife will get some rough use, batoning, chopping. The black handled Booshway that I just shipped out was closer to tradtional 12 and in L-6. I chopped very hard dried wood cross grain and dried antler with it and the edge survived.

sweet i will just do it at 15 degree's on the sharpmaker. thanks for the quick response sir. i love the knife so far

Really glad ya like it buddy, I look forward to seeing some pics in the future !

grunt I have yours right now making that edge scream and I will echo that the knife is sweet! it does feel great in hand and I personally love the blade shape.
