So I had SPKETCH make me some Coco scales for my Gentleman Jim not too long ago that turned out amazing. So amazing I asked him to make some Koa wood scales for my Breeden Rescue and my Southard
Here is the Breeden

I would have to admit one of my favorite parts of these new scales in this picture above you can see the standoffs were removed and SPKETCH replaced them with a back strap.

And now the Southard

I my opinion amazing work if you are looking for some custom wooden scales SPKETCH is where you find them.

Wow, both look amazing, but the Southard is a grand slam! Congrats, very nice...

Are you going to put the southard pocket clip back on? I changed mine to an STR low rider that is much easier to get over your pocket seam.

Thanks very much for the kind words. Hanover, you've really got a knack for showing off the subtle patterns in the wood with your photos. Beautiful shots!

No I am not this will be shipped to Al Dodge at pocketknifesheaths (he's a member here) for a custom sheath.

Steve-

Thank you for the compliment. But I have found with 8 years of photography experience that so long as the subject (human or not) is photogenic then the shots are easy. These were easy. Usually I bring out my lights for something like this (last night I was too lazy) the only lighting I used was my hot shoe flash (mounted to my camera as opposed to a sync cord). When all you need is that then its the subject of the photo not the photographer that makes the photo.

Teaser.
