I just received my Buck 110 that my nephew bought for me and I love it. It is just like the one I had when I was in the Navy ( 1973-1977 ) . I have no idea what happened to that knife, but I had told my nephew about it while ago and he surprised me with a brand new one with a Buck sheath. I will cherish this knife for all my life. Thanks to my nephew and thank you Buck knives!!

pretty tough pocket knife there.
it should serve you well and then some.
as with all knives
its the basic things like sharpening
which makes all the difference.

Well, I know what happened to mine in the same time frame. While not in the Navy I was helping a friend check some crab traps off the Central Coast of Ca. He borrowed my 110 to cut something free and kerplunk he dropped it. Yep at the bottom of the Pacific. Congrats on the new one!

Great nephew! I got my first Buck 110 a few days ago, although I had to buy it for myself.

It was the first time I've handled a 110 since using my grandfather's years ago. I was not prepared for the strong closing bias, and took a bad bite to the finger on day 2.

You know - had you bought the Schrade Uncle Henry 127UH - Schrade would have replaced it free of charge...just sayin... ;).

Anyhow - Buck 110 is a great knife. Everybody should own one.
