That's really a great looking knife. A little to many straight lines for my liking, but a tough looking knife for sure.

That's the thing I love must about my Tops BOB, 1/4" thick chunk of 5160 with a scandi grind. It's a tank.

The sheath is nylon and doesn't do it justice. I will build a sheath for it in the next couple days. Hopefully anyway. I have a couple to try to get done today.

Congratulations on your 890/650 build out. That knife was sold to some of the folks here on a build out list at a price of $50. I had bought 2 of them and sold them both as I'm not much of a tactical knife guy so I thought. Would love to have them back, that knife is almost perfectly balanced. I wish Buck would make some 890/650s out of a soft steel (not heat treated so hard, less brittle) put some leather handles on them for a throwing knife. I'd buy a dozen or more right now!!!

The tang on these is a full quarter inch thick.

The handles are G10

Steel is 420HC

450 Were made. Never to be made again.
A list of build out knives states 423 of these were made.
