Just barely had a break in the weather long enough to actually take some pics outside. Anyone that is on the fence about getting a Bush Operator...DO IT! This knife feels great in the hand and is sharp like a scalpel. I thought about cutting off a pinky to demonstrate but then decided that might not be such a good idea in the long run. Thanks Dylan for a really great knife that will hopefully get some beatings this winter out in the woods!

Great pics!
I can't wait for mine to get here :D
I was going to hold out for one with red liners like yours but who can resist a Xmas special? ;)

Agreed. It's a great looking knife. Looking forward to getting my hands on an XL early next year.

How does the Bushy compare in size to say, a Falkniven F1 or RC 3?

I own a bush op and an RC3. I'll try to get some pics up for you tonite, jt.

Icyblue, congrats on the new knife. You'll like this one a lot. Dylan knocked it out of the proverbial park with this one!

Great pictures! That one turned out pretty awesome. How'd you like that two-tone sheath? I thought it would compliment that knife better than just plain black.

I don't have a Falkniven but I'll post some comparisons of the stuff I have... I would say that it feels like it's sort of between the RC-3 and RC-4. The handles are definitely larger than either of the ESEEs though. The handles feel closer to the Bravo-1 to me.

Here's a group of RC-3, Bush Operator, Bravo-1 and a RC-4:

The two-tone turned out awesome! It was definitely a cool surprise. It was sort of dark in the room where I opened it last night so I didn't notice at first but I was super stoked when I saw it in the light!

That was quick! Thanks. That's a great looking set of knives right there.

It's getting hot as hell here in Australia in the lead up to christmas. I'll be really interested to see how Dylan's handles on the XL go with sweat and rain compaired to my A1. I find the Falk'n A1's black handles get a little slippery in those conditions when pushed hard.

Thanks again for the photos. Good stuff.

Damn, and I was just gonna upload them, too! haha Icybluesmile beat me to it!

I like my RC3 still, but the Bush Operator makes it look almost weak.

Damn guys, just rub it in!

Darn you and your Bush Operators! Darn you all to heck!

Hopefully I'll have mine some time after the first of the year. :)

I finally got a chance to get outside and use my Bush Operator some this afternoon. I didn't have a ton of time and I'm not super experienced with fire making but here is my little fire. I took the pics with my cell phone so sorry for some of the blurry ones... My opinion remains that the Bush Operator is pretty damn awesome!
