this was a used ARK i got from a fellow forumite....i traded 4 of my HI khukuris for this single blade.....just received it in the mail today.....the black crinkle was stripped by the previous owner and given a rough satin finish.....

i touched it up with some Mother's Mag polish......the handle was a bit dry, but well burnished.....very deep pattern...i oiled it to give it the gloss i desired....snakeskin is beautiful....

i'll let the pics speak for themselves:

looks good:thumbup:

do you think the serrations look like a different pattern then other ARK's you've seen?

Looks good! :D:thumbup: The ARK was one of my first Busse's too. :) Congrats!!

actually, they do look different....

the one you sent me has flat serrations....similar to the desert ARK.....

most of the black ARKs seem to have pointy serrations.....

either way, i am very happy with the blade...

congrats:thumbup:, I always regret selling the one I had, oh well "no regrets" as they say!

I like the INFI dimples, but think what that one could look like after a Ban treatment.

Nice score.

Very nice, Very jealous want one without the serations. I am also thinking about a Public Defender the ARK has the same handle style I believe how does it feel in your hand and how long is the blade?

the blade is 4.5", and the cutting edge is right around 3.5"....the handle is very comfortable in every grip imaginable.....regular, icepick, reverse icepick....i have medium sized hands....
