Just won this one off of Ebay...I love these big ol' 6275's! This one is from 1981, and appears to be in great shape. It's going to be a "usin' knife"...I'll carry it woods-running and hunting. The Moose is my favorite pocketknife pattern for hunting, hiking and camping. Here's the pics:

Can hardly wait to get home and see it! Oh, well, it's just another 3 weeks away!

Great knife. I really like the moose pattern as well and have a few variations.

I have the Case Classic version of that knife with stag scales. I was just playing with it last night.

Good score, Ron.

It has "MDC" in script form on the clip blade and "Merry Christmas 1982" on the spey blade, both lightly etched, along with a serial number "015" on the bolster. My plan is to take very fine sandpaper & steel wool and remove the etching from the blades.

Thats funny.. I saw the knife on e-bay and was going to bid on it and do the same thing to the blades

great knife, but you ought to consider leaving the inscription on the blade it adds character and history. just my .02

338375, Great minds think alike! LOL!

Ahgar, you have a point there, but I think I still want the blades to be "uncluttered." Guess I'll wait and see when I get home and actually see it.

Fewpop, you're right about that! Hopefully, it will be busy this year skinnin' and cleanin' some hogs, deer and fish! It will definitely be going camping and hiking with me!
