I have been lurking here for a while, and it has really gotten me interested in slipjoint knives. While walking around a flea market today I found a older Case slipjoint. So after quite a bit of haggaling with the guy I bought this knife for $10. When I got home and searched the Case website I have found out that this knife was made between 1970 and 1979, it is a three bladed stockman with red bone handles (at least they look red to me).The only problem with this knife is it has a broken backspring on one of the small blades. I am planning to send the knife back to Case Monday to have this repaired. Here are some pictures of the knife. Thanks for the help all of you have given me without even knowing it.

You mean the seller was originally asking more than $10 for a knife with a broken backspring!?

Yes stockman I plan on giving a place in my EDC. I work in a hospital most of the time so no pockets in scrubs, but I'm planning to carry it on my off work days.

Nothin wrong with your pictures..
That knife has a good home now. When ya get it back, it will give you years of service.
No need to lurk. There are a lot of great folks hangin out here.
