Cool demo...now how about opening a champagne bottle with a buxom Viking Princess holding the bottle.... :-)

Swinging right-handed, you will get far more power leading with your left leg rather than your right. Similar to swinging a baseball bat. That is a big mean blade!

Pretty impressive demonstration but I have to ask; what the H do you do with it after that? Wall hanger?

He's swinging it the proper way. You never want to swing a blade like a baseball bat. That's the westerner method of improper form. Swinging or cutting from the right you always have your right foot forward. Cutting from the left, left foot forward.

This form he's using is correct. Much safer and your body does not bind halfway through and this also allows for proper anatomical follow through.

That thing is a beast perfect for marauding and pillaging !
My question was 'what the H (or F, for that matter) do you do with a GD thing like that after proving it can cleave Coke bottles', and you "my good man" answered this quite nicely.
We can all dream!

Good stuff!! Love the "schwing" sound!

I wish I had a backyard like yours :)

Yep, I watched Lynn Thompson demonstrate how to use it before I even attempted, I was trying the "westerner" form but I could not get accurate strikes whatsoever.

Yep! I know it might be an expensive wall hanger but dang, It brings me so much joy haha!

I hate to admit it, but I agree. And I almost feel embarrassed to admit that I want a Cold Steel War Hammer. I basicly realize that it is a useless POS, but........ :D Sometimes they are just toys to fart around with.

Haha every man has to have their toys bro!

A battle axe that can cut through disposable water bottles, now that is an "amazing product!"

Take one, and try it.

You may not realize it, but cutting water bottles with an axe, especially a slower axe can be difficult.

I have had axes sharp enough to slice paper, that bounced the harder bottles. Machetes, and big knives too.

The edge has to be sharp, and to get a slice through multiple bottles you have to have good form.

I have a battle axe that won't. I have bounced bottles with it (I have never sharpened the factory edge because I use it as a thrower). It will

Yep, has to be thin and sharp and not well suited for "battle." I just think its kinda funny and ironic.
