Merry Christmas everyone! here is a pic of my 1st damascus blade...differential heattreat,ended up using cocobolo for scales and went with carbon steel bolsters(i plan on blueing them to compliment the damascus) just a little more touch up sanding,and edge the knife and she's ready for a sheath:D

thanks guys:D i couldnt have made this knife without the guidance of Indian George... the man is an absolut pleasure to be around,great teacher,first and formost a true friend:) and hanging around here taking bits and pieces of useful information to create knives sometimes beyond the makers imagination! cool,cool,cool,:cool: like that whole flow the way you set it out in a puma white hunter look with the damuscus and it says, EEEEEHHHHHAAAAA

Great "first" damascus knife man... as one poster said.. it really "flows" nice from end to end... nice blade and handle shape too.
 
Just popped in on this forum. I don't post here often but My God that is a beautiful knife. I can't really express how good that knife looks as I am dumbfounded. make more like that. don't know what else to say.....
 
Man, that's a chunk! Beautiful recurved blade, looks solid as hell, what a treat for yourself. Thanks for sharing!
