I had owned a CPM D2 Military at one time, but sold it to purchase my JD Smith. I was impressed with the D2, great steel, takes a keen edge, so I have been watching for a CPM D2 Paramilitary to give it a try. Everyone seems to love the Paramilitary, and the D2 steel just improves it.

Very nice. I still like the Para 1 better than the Para 2 and CPM D2 just makes it better. I'm sorry that one was a sprint run. I'd like to have seen continuing limited production status for it.

That would be nice, but there are so many "super" steels on the way, I imagine it is hard to keep an old CPM D2 steel in production.

It's been the best Spydie I've ever owned!

I am enjoying it!

I like mine but it does tend to rust on me a bit, more so than S30V.
