Just got my benza back from Tom Mayo. He does an amazing job on them. He makes an average looking knife look great. The knife is now super smooth too. And if you thought it came sharp from the factory, you're not gonna believe how sharp he gets it. I've already cut myself pretty good with it

And here's my new Aviator. It's smaller than I thought it would be. However, it's cooler than I though it would be so it balances out :D

God CRK makes damn good knives
Thanks for the look

If you don't mind me asking, how much was it for him to play with your benza?

Aviator looks awesome. I think I might purchase one of their 9" one piece knives in the near future.

Nice pictures too

Tom doesn't talk prices on the forums, so I won't either. I'll e-mail you torment ;)

EDIT: Torment, I tried to mail you using the address you listed but it bounced back

Great looking work by Mr Mayo. He dylan, while you're at it how about emailing the cost info to me as well? Thanks.

I just cleared out a ton of stuff but I've been getting e-mails from people all day. Hope it works now.

Thanks dylan.

That Mayonized sebenza is very nice. Could you also email me price info as well as length of time it took to have this done?
Thanks for the eye candy!!

I've had Tom do a couple of my Sebenzas and he does a great job. Why not just shoot him an e-mail and ask him yourself. He seems to be pretty good about returning messages.

i had tom customize my classic small sebbie. he was fantastic to deal with, turn around was quicker than wheat he quoted me and the knife is now (imho) art-quality! sharp as all get out, and even smoother (NO idea how the heck he manages that one) than before and has some cool custom holes and anodization. MUCHmore than i would have expected at the very low cost he quoted me. sebbies are fantastic in any flavor, and tom just lets you get one in a flavor that he (and you) will like as well!! you won't be sorry (other than that crk may not warrant the knife post-customization, but they're bullet proof, so who cares?)

I, too, am the proud owner and user of an Aviator, OD Green.

When I first got it, I was also surprised at its diminutive size. It just at about disappeared next to my Strider BT, which itself is far, far from being oversized.

I knew all the measurements of the Aviator before I bought it from TAD, but darn if the actual sight of it didn't shock me a bit!

I've since learned that it's a "Little [Knife] that Could."

:)

Nice blades, bro!
