My CRKT Tuition finally arrived today and was it ever worth the wait! I didn't even know that the liners had a nice coating (perhaps Titanium oxide like Rainbow Kershaws?), so that was a pleasant surprise, looks awesome! It's very slightly smaller than I imagined, not disappointed AT ALL mind you. The flipper action is awesome, I can't wait to order a Summa to go with it. Lockup feels/looks great, came nice and sharp too. As you can see in picture #6, the grind is a bit sloppy near the tip (on both sides, but at least they are the same). Doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I thought it should point it out for those that it may concern (this may be an isolated case, no idea). Awesome experience dealing with 2BKC as usual (no surprise there).

How does that "Tuition" feel in the hand? Is it heavy or bulky feeling? Does the micarta have any texture to it? I like the design sorta. I am on the fence as to get one of these or a "Buck Vantage Pro"? Still nice photos!

It's growing on me!
Nice pics, thanks. Looks like you had some fun taking those.
It seems that CRKT have been listening to their customers and are now producing better products - Tuition, Summa & Natural all look to be better quality knives than the previous batch.

I like the handle scales and the rainbow liners, they make a beautiful combo! However, Im not that big fan of the design and the looks.

Definitely not bulky, it really is quite small, I can get all 4 fingers on it, but there's definitely no handle left over. The micarta is completely smooth. I wouldn't consider it heavy, but it's not exceptionally light like my Skyline or anything. Weighs about the same as my Trance if that helps.

What steel have they been using in those?

8Cr14MoV, we'll see how it holds up.

That's a pretty cool knife, they took the sheepsfoot blade design and incorporated it in a folder. Nice addition.
