Just recently got a custom knife of my design made by Henry C from World Class Knives

It's great! It's cut straight through everything i've put it up against.

I like the knife much more than the sheath. What's that big splat in the middle of the blade all about? It looks queerly recessed but that can't be right surely. The description says “acid etched”, is it an artifact from that?

I like the design alot-I don't think Clip Points get enough representation in the bushcraft/survival field. With the right steel and the right design, you can do some incredibly heavy and detailed tip work with the same knife. It's one area where the Camillus bolt knife really shines. If you do any kind of boring, bolting, chiseling, etc with your tip, there's nothing like a good clip point.

It is like a mini-heavy duty air force survival knife. I reconfigured the sheath to make it a crossdraw and moved the firesteel, He's carrying it in a leather pouch type sheath now. With his new knife it gives him more incentive to go with dad on adventures in the woods.
