I just got this beauty and I just had to post some pics. My crappy photography doesn't do it justice.

Very nice A.P.F. I am jealous of the "Designers Choice" blade stamp. Mine has the production markings.
 
Nice looking ....watch that BG-42 I sliced the tip off my little finger closing the blade on a G-10 110 BG-42 while at the factory celebration. Was I em-bare-assed. I made the excuse I was not use to handling the big knives...the Buck provided band-aids came in handy.....300Bucks
 
Thanks, everyone! I got in just under the line for the BG-42 and count myself fortunate to have 5 customs with that steel.

I do think that I am approaching the seriously addicted stage, however. I just got this beautiful Stag/Brass and am already planning my next series of knives in nickle/silver with S30V. Help me before I buy again! :D

Edit - I forgot to mention that one of the first things that I noticed on this latest Custom, is that the walk 'n talk was perfect. Far better than any of my other 110s', custom or otherwise. I think that the Custom Shoppe is turning out a great product.

WoW!! thanks alot... Now I want a 110 with Ram slabs!!! As if I don't want enough stuff I can't afford NOW!!!! LOL!!!! Thats a Wonderful Looking Buck A.P.F. Nice photos also!!!!:thumbup::D:thumbup:

Thanks, Baba! Yes, my hat is off to Buck for offering Ram's Horn as a handle choice. The more I look at it, the more I like it!

@ Flatlander - You are going to love that Custom when you get it! I am looking forward to seeing an FG version.

Tim,

You have to order it from the Buck's Custom shop. No more BG-42 available but you can get S30V. A darn fine blade on a 110. I imagine the Australian dollar is strong against the US dollar so it might be a value to you.

http://www.buckknives.com/ This has a knife builder feature if it will work for you.

Or you can call and most likely get a fellow named Pete. He'll fix you up.

Australian dollar was good it just dropped recently from 95 cents down to 86 expected to be 82 by Christmas, due to regaining strengthe of US dollar, oh well, Ill just have to appreciate yours from a distance, very nice.
 
A.P.F., I like your Ram & brass without pins. I'm having a couple done with premium steel blades. This BG42 just arrived and is the N/S frame & pins.
