I have had this design in my head for over a year. It started with tracing my Mora Clipper (my most favorite inexpensive knife in the world), then changing the drawing over and over through the past several months until I got it just how I wanted it. Then I contacted Andras of Woodbear knives and he was able to make this beauty come to life!

I've just had it for a day, but I could not help but get it out for a little testing and some comparison pics. It's full tang, 1/8" O1 with natural micarta scales and a heavy duty pouch sheath. I'll let the pics do the talking until I can get it out for more carving, but man this thing is super sweet. I could not be more happy with it. And for those who have not dealt with Woodbear, top notch all the way

Ha! Wood is definitely an option, I am already considering one in osage!

Now that is a mighty fine woods knife. Hum. May have to order one if you'll permit it?

I came across this thread and I too really like the look of your knife. Seems comfortable to hold too, one of the most important aspects on a bushcraft style knife for me.

Man. I'm a bit off of medium fixed blades right now but that one sure is tempting. Nice design!

Hi clipper was my first bushcraft knife and after many $$$$ spent in many blades always missed it and comeback to it, now I think I have found the best of two worlds ;-)

well done. I would buy one.
I would move the lanyard hole to mach the location on the clipper and I would "bottle" shape that handle. Ads in cola bottle. That's me getting picky;).

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I have been using this knife around the house for the past week and really like the overall feel of it.

What is your model called?

We have come up with the name Norlander for this one. It had to have Swedish name!

You are right, a lower lanyard hole would probably work better. I guess I didn't give much thought to it. I like the option of lanyards but find that I really never use one on a smaller knife. Also he does tend to leave the handles with a lot of material on them, and encourages people to sand and mod them to their liking. Coke bottle shape would rock on this one! But it feels pretty awesome in hand as it is, it's nicely rounded.

Nice looking design. Handle looks comfortable.
