A few months ago I came to the conclusion that my knife collection needed more focus. After some hard thinking
I decided to focus on art daggers and fancy bowies. That said I looked at my collection and pointed out the ones that had to go to a new owner (my funds are limited so I needed money to go in the new direction). I sold five knives to finance the following daggers. I know they wiill not be to anyones liking but they all appeal to me in some way or other.
The first one is by Heavin Forge and my first MS knife. It has a multibar damascus blade, some nice engraving and is perfectly balanced at the guard.
The second one is by Fred Carter, who needs no introduction.
The third one is by Don Lozier with Devin Thomas Spirograph damascus and Julie Warenski did the outstanding engraving and such.
And now the piece de resistance. This one comes with a short story. I had to undergo heart surgery 2,5 weeks ago to cure me from my atrial fibrillation. Coming home from this my wife decided that I needed a special gift to welcome me back among the "healthy ones" again. Luckily for me a couple of days ago a wonderfull Willie Rigney dagger appeared on the surface for sale and a deal was struck. I don't have it yet in my hands but Coop's great picture shows me enough to drool allready.
This is my longest thread ever, I hope I didn't bore you all .
