I had been thinking that it's silly I don't wear one of my own knives. I'm a knife maker and I never have a knife when I need one. This is a problem I can fix. I've been wanting to try forging some leaf spring so it seemed like a good opportunity to try it out. This knife is inspired by one I made not too long ago. It was cute but nasty in all the right ways. So I tried to capture the same attitude but tweaked a couple of things like making the blade a little longer and minimizing the handle. I also made two sheaths for it. One is for open carry. The other uses J Paranee's Velcro system for when I want to carry concealed. I haven't set up a photo studio since I moved, so apologies for the lousy pictures.

This was the inspiration:

This is the new knife:

Blade Steel: Forged Leaf Spring finished to 1200X
Blade Length: 5" edge
Guard: Wrought Iron
Handle: Stabilized Curly Redwood
OAL: 9.5"

Like the shoemaker’s children! What a beautiful knife. Blade grind is sublime and I love that curly redwood. Now following you on insta. I’m at eaglescoutknives in my knife life on that platform

Bravo, sir!
