Well, it's finally done, and I should have it on Mon.!!! I can't wait!!!

Here are the specs.:

- 3 5/8" BG-42 blade (Heat treated by R.J. Martin.)

- .130 size blade stock.

- 1200 grit flats.

- 1500 grit bevels.

- Dual thumbstuds.

- 1/16" jeweled Ti. fileworked liners, anodized dark purple with gold highlights on edges.

- 7 layer fileworked, anodized Ti. 1/2 back spacer.

- 1/4" pivot.

- 3 screw Ti. clip!!!

- 1200 polished Ti. bolsters.

- Polished, basket weave carbon fiber scales.

Well, what do you think? I'm open to any ans all comments, good or bad. Thanks for lookin'.

Very nice looking knife. Looks like he really knows how to take a 'tactical' folder and dress it up to make it into a very classy knife. You are a lucky man

Very nice piece Jackyl, I like it alot. What was the timeframe for this piece ?

Took about 2 months, but I believe that has since changed. I am also on the list for some Starmate mods. but the wait for that alone is almost 3 months. You'll have to ask him for sure on the turn around time, and price on something like this, sorry.

Very impressive. Very nice lines. I've got a fixed blade by Dale . . . maybe I need a folder to go with!
 
Hahaha...you guys are great!!! Thanks for the input. I'd love to answer any questions about Dale's work, but pricing and turn-around times are his thing, not mine. My knife was kind of an "experiment" for Dale to try a few things on. I think we came up with some cool and it looks like he did an AWESOME job!!! Besides, Dale's work is already bringing a bit more than it was at the time we worked this deal out. Just imagine having an art knife maker make a more "tactical" *YUK* model for you. The price may be a little higher, but the quality is a lot better than that of most custom tacticals, IMO. Besides, Dale never makes two of the same knife. Shoot him a price, I'm sure he'll make you a deal.

Hay guys, thanks for the kind words. Turn around time is about 4 months on orders. I will be making more of this type of knife but without all the fancys unless someone orders one with fancys.
