Just finished! New model of 2011.....
QI, also spelled chi or ch’i in English and translated as "energy flow "
The 3" folder that designed for EDC.

Specs.

Blade steel : Damasteel
Thickness : 4mm.
Blade length : 3 1/8" from tip to handle
Edge length : 3"
Closed length : 4 1/2"
Opened length : 7 1/2"
Width : 1 3/8"
Handle : CF&Elephant Ivory
Locking system : Frame lock
Frame : 6AL 4V titanium 1/8" thickness.
Lock bar stop : 6AL 4V titanium
Spacer : 1.5 mm. thickness 6AL 4V titanium
Clip : 6AL 4V titanium
Pivot : Hardened 440C in Yin-Yang style.

Wow!!! I am definitely in for one of those. Talk about breathing new life into something. That is a beautiful knife.

I dig the yin & yang detail on the pivot, and the handle shape looks like it would melt right into the hand... :thumbup:

If I may offer an honest opinion, I find the prototype a little too 'busy' for my taste. There's a lot of awesome features going on, but perhaps they compete a little too much for attention. I'd like to see the handle smoothed out with fewer 'lumps and bumps' and maybe the carbon fibre substituted for ebony--but maybe that's just me. I sure hope my opinion doesn't offend in any way...
