First off, what a beautiful knife. I do have a question though. I'm not a knife guy like many of you, so the only nice pocket knives i've handled are the EDC I bought at the NY state fair for a friend, and the Dominator I just bought myself due to liking the EDC so much. The thing is that if I open the knife all the way, there is a slight wiggle. Not side to side at all, but top to bottom. Barely noticeable, and I can push the frame over a little to lock it up really tight if I want, but just opening it up normally, it isn't quite tight. Is this pretty standard and the EDC I had just happened to be exactly tight? Is there any risk of the blade pushing the lock to the side if it isn't over far enough?
I know i'm just being anal, but it is far more than i've ever paid for a knife before, and I live so close to camillus that it would be pretty quick to get it tightened up if it's possible, or if someone can tell me what to do myself that'd be great.
Thanks a lot guys (girls?) and it's great to see local people making such cool products.

1) The behavior you describe doesn't sound acceptable.

2) They should be able to fix you up at Camillus. Camillus people are present in this forum. They are SUPER responsive. Send a message to Will if you don't hear from somebody.

3) Another option would be to see if anyone around is "tuning" Dominators. They could fix these problems and add features to your knife at the same time (anodize it, checker it, ...).

Thanks Gabe,
I guess I'll give camillus a call and see what they think.
It would be cool to see what people can do in terms of tuning/customizing though. I think for something I'm going to carry in my pocket on a daily basis I wouldn't want to spend much more, unless there is something that would make it last longer/ be more functional etc.

I ended up sending this in to get tweeked. Two or three weeks later I got it back and it locks up beautifully. just rock solid. After a couple weeks carrying it it seems like the perfect size for a good pocket knife. It's amazing to me how many perfectly rational people seem shocked by a decent sized pocket knife, as if blades over 2" are prone to removing themselves from your pocket and stabbing someone!
I'll have to buy/cary a Desert Eagle to desensitize the population a little...
