The nice mailman brought me my new Dozier today which I ordered about 4 months ago. Tha handle is paper micarta.

I sure was woth the wait for me and the folks in the office are just outstanding to deal with.

Owning a Dozier is like a revelation in knife ergonomics .... clean, uncomplicated, totally functional handles that put 98% of the other stuff out there to shame.

No question you're going to like your new knife even better a year from now - enjoy!

Well, since you mentioned other Doziers...
This is what the ivory paper micarta looks after it ages a couple of years.

I have added this knife to "my little Dozier family".
I only have 4 of them but each one is unique and an example of masterfull workmanship.
Ebbtide, I love the way it has yellowed, now it looks even more like ivory.

I like to think of it as a manly magenta ;)

I 'only' have 4 as well.
Haven't got the fillet knife in a group shot yet.

That's a beautiful knife. I'll try to take pics of my Doziers soon and send you some. I've been thinking about adding some more...
 
In answer to your email, yes, that is indeed a model 6. The model 6 and the Arkansas Toothpick are now my EDC's of choice. Thats not to say that there won't be many more of my favorite knives on my belt too. Today it is the Model 6, the Arkansas Toothpick, and the Trident Custom Knives model Oberdorf 01.
