Guys,
Got my M43 "WOW"!!! lOVE IT,called Bill,THAT NDN(he either knew it was me, or he was out playing with his K'S,he didn't answer)then Terry, to compare. With Durba you never are sure,if it's going to be blade heavey, neutral ,or handle heavey!Mine is blade heavey, when you cut ,the blade REALLY leads!Snap cuts are awesome, rolling the blade is a pleasure. With this K you have to like a blade thats heavey(i like mine this way)& be able to adapt,if you don't have a big or stong wrist this can get heavey or cause problems. Handle is wood ,fit & finish perfect, has a few pin holes in the bolster(think it's from welding,THAT NDN & Wal would know)! Blade rings when you thump it.Might buy one, in the future when Koz gets one & gives HIS OK,to compare,BUT then again, maybe not ,I like this one!Be advised about the blade & this style of K ,it can throw you, if you are expecting a REGULAR K!Thanks Bill, & Terry!Man does this K operate!
jim:D :D :D

KNN did a great job on my M43. Fit and finish are great. The temper is up there, my file didn't want to bite into it at all!
It has a very comfortable handle and the sheath is perfect! not to loose or to tight. I'll try to do a test chop or two and let everyone know how it performs.
Thanks again Uncle!
Terry

Have you chopped much with your M43 yet, Jim? If so, does it have more of a tendency to get stuck in wood (due to the thinner blade) than most HI khuks?
