Today, my mom brought a brown box by my dorm and in it were two brand new Durba's from Uncle Bill.:D:):D:) (Looks like you let more slip through Jim:)) A Kumar Karda and a 12" AK. Both excelently made. The fix and finish rate on the Kumar Karda rates a 9/10 and a 9/10 for the 12" AK.:) The Kumar Karda is sharp, but not quite hair flinging sharp, where as the AK takes hair off my arm.:D I'm betting it will do good for light brush clearing.

Wednesday when I go home for Thanksgiving I'll get some pics of both and do a little testing with the AK.:) The Kumar Karda is a little on the big side for my mom, so I might just have to order her another. :)

Thank you Uncle Bill for these great knives. I just can't put the KK down. Will have to order a few more. :)

I forgot to add this:

The AK's scabard is nicely tooled. Has what looks like leaves or Fire on it. Very well done. The KK's scabard just has a little scroll work around the edges thats also nicely done.

And I forgot to mention the Carving on the KK's handle. It's incredable. Very nicely done :):) All it needs is a good cleaning and treating. Uncle, did Durba also carve the handle? It really does help with the grip and is quite comfortable. When I first saw the carvings, I thought it would not be, but it really is. Thank you again for such wonderfull Knives.
