Kizer knives caught my eye a while back. What stopped my from buying one for a while was that they are made in china. But i hear pretty good things about them. So i decided to finally try one. I found a 3 inch framelock flipper. Model is ki3404-3. For $115.00 this thing is awsome. S35vn blade, full titanium. Fit and finish is great. Feels great in hand. Solid lockup at about 25% and the blade is perfectly centered. Super smooth action. Feels like theres bearings in there but just has bronze washers. Very impressed. With how nice this knife is for $115.00 i dont care that its made in china. Its crazy how they can make a knife of this quality and sell it for such a great price. For the price id say its the best flipper you can find. And one of the best knives out there for the $100 range. If you guys dont have one go get one! Who cares that its made in china, this is a good quality knife.


 
How are the scales slipperiness on this one? I had the anodized version which was a beaut but too slippery for me. I would have kept it otherwise!
 
I have the same knife, and despite it being too small for me, it's pretty decent quality.

If you take it apart, make sure to loctite the pivot, as it comes loose rather easily.
 
That is a great looking knife!

The thing about China is they can build to any quality level that the buyer is willing to pay for. They are not lacking in any department. Other issues aside - China can build things of astounding quality.

Glad you're enjoying your knife. I've never tried a Kizer but have seen them pop up often on here. They must be onto something.
 
Are there any China made knives, comparable to a "high-end" American made knife? I have never heard of anything good coming out of China, so this is an interesting find.
