I'm mostly new to the wonderful world of knives, but i found a pretty good knife to use as my edc.
it's the Columbia Chimney rock knife, the steel's not the greatest, but it has a good sheath, its has a total length of 8 1/4 inches which is good for me not to big or small for basic stuff around the house. i dont put it through hell so the steels not a problem.
i was wondering what you guys thought? or:thumbdn: ?

CONGRATS on finding a knife that you like enough to EDC. I have never heard of it!! Can you take pix?

Yeah I have one it a nice little knife, and I was good price. Good size and feels good in your hand. Just wish it had a better steal.
Well congrats on the knife Brad.

Looks to be a classic design, with a slight twist for the scales and sheath.

Nice everyday user shape.

That is my knife- only mine's in a green handle instead of black, sheath's still the same.

Well, you have your EDC, style wise. That's good. For better steel, start looking around for similar styles in better steel.

I have my favorites, but, I'm not gonna list them. That's for you to look in on.

But, one point, once you get into the 'super' steels one is not that far off from the other. Not for EDC purpose's anyway.

EDC your knife. Check around. Read ...........

THEN look to upgrade.
