I bought this nice little S30V EDC from TK Steingass. It came with a very well made heavy duty horizontal leather sheath.
I like the knife/sheath combo allot but I really wanted to carry this knife and the sheath it came with doesn't lend itself to discreet carry very well.
I'd been looking at some LKL (leather, kydex, leather) sheaths offered by Bill Malloy, Mastersmiths in Manhattan.
So off my little Steingass went. I'm really happy with the results. The sheath is well made, the knife fits snuggly into it and is very secure, the Tek-Lok (which I requested) can be horizontal or vertical. I wear this vertically at 5:00 and I don't even know it's there. With a jacket or shirt worn outside neither does anyone else.
The Tek-Lok doubles as a display stand too!
