Hi all!

Recently, as some of you may be aware, I converted to Kershaw from Spyderco. Today, at a local knife show I picked up a great little blade. I chose the smaller of the two since I can legally carry a sub-three inch blade.
Without further delays here are pics:

That's all folks!

Enjoy!

Yet another Mike! :D

That ENRG is sweet.
Nice pick-up.

That sand is perfect. Where are you at?

mike

That's not sand Mike. It's a vinyl cover over a table! :D

I'm in MA. The weather has been wonderful lately!

Here's one of mine that'll be getting some special treatment from STR eventually. I plan on having the trac-tec inserts replaced with carbon fiber or some type of hardwood. Snagged this first production model just by chance and thought I'd do something cool to it.:D The Ener-G is just about the smoothest flipper of the bunch so far. What a great knife. I would carry it more, but I just don't like how the Trac-tec tears up my jeans.

Good idea to choose for Kershaw folders . I bought my first spyderco in 1988 and became a fan for spyderco during several years . Since Kershaw changed his production to Ken Onion designs I really sold all spyderco folders . Now I Love Kershaw folders ! They produre so many different awesome knives ,all the high quality .I recently bought 3 knives. That NRG is a nice folder too.

Glad to hear you enjoy yours , I picked up the same model about a month ago and absolutly love it.

Took it apart and polished the liners to near mirror , after reassembling I gently sanded the G10, liners and backspacer so that the F&F is perfect !

This is one of the sharpest knives I own ,the grind on this blade is gnarly :D

However , that grippy stuff is terror on the 'ol pocket , am also thinking on something to replace it with.

Good thread. :D:cool:

Congrats on the pickup.

OT: I noticed your sig line links for Coombs and Tanguay. I got one of their midtech collaboration gixed blades at the show yesterday. Really nice guys to talk to and they're putting out a heck of a knife at a good price.

mmmotorcycle and jonnymac44...that's a much better looking knife in your photos than any of the online add pictures show...

Now there's another one to add to the want list...:D

Ray :)

Thanks Ray,

This is definitely one you need to see and feel up close to truly appreciate. The action is so smooth and the Ener-G is really comfy in the hand. I love the blade shape as well. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news (as far as your wallet is concerned), but yes, you MUST have one!!:D

Cheers,
Jon

Thanks Guys!

A knife being used always looks better to me!

I'm glad you like their work. I have yet to buy one of their collaboration knives but own several of their own pieces of work. They certainly are quite sharp!
