Came across this one @ Cabelas a few weeks ago. I thought it would be kinda handy once in a while , and at only $29, I couldn't pass it up.

Who knew this little guy could be so useful! Razor sharp, perfect sized for so many things, and really easy to carry in the pocket! I would like to have seen a little more secure sheath, but...

If you haven't picked up one, do so!!!!

Is that an 8 1/2 inch hartsook? Or am I reading it incorrectly?

Are they much, much bigger or just renamed Hartsooks?

Maybe including the lanyard and sheath strap and clip.;)

I thought that Plum but figgered it would be foolish and false advertising:confused::confused::confused:

It says it is a rugged caper, if it is under 2", it would be hard to cape a ferret with it.

I'm not sure much about the Hartshook, but I think the Sandvik steel and BOS heat treatment are different. There is as folder in the lineup VERY similar to the folding Omni hunter, but the same steel as this one. That makes ALL the difference in the 2.

Looks like they are doing a couple Bucklites too in the Sandvik stuff. What a great steel, the perfect balance between edge retention, ease of sharpening, and doesn't tend to chip out. Love my Bucks and Kershaws in this steel.
