Scored this yesterday from one of our fine members. A while back I traded away my NO-E. At that point I didn't realize how much I loved that knife. It was the perfect size for most tasks and made an awesome camp knife. I took it just about everywhere with me. However I never liked the curved handles of the E series all that much. Not that there is anything wrong with them... I just preferred the less curved Fusion series or the straight handles. Well this knife is gonna fill the gap left by the NO-E nicely and has ergos that are more to my liking. Thick little beast and nice feeling micarta slabs (I usually see these in G10). Added an Azwelke pancake sheath and I am a happy camper. This is my new favorite knife.

I love the ASH design. It's a classic. I have .22" ASH, and it's definitely one of, if not my favorite knife.

Congrats on the score!

That is one of my must buys.... eventually... along with MUK, Rodent 9, Rattlehawk, Terror Monkey DSSF, LBNMSHBM, NMFBM, FFBM... my credit card just crapped himself.

Beautiful natural outlaw.
Unless I'm missing something, which is quite possible, I think that is a Double Cut or a stripped ASH-1 (Anniversary Steel Heart)

That's why they make credit card diapers.

You've got a lot of long knives in that list. While I too love the choppers, the ASH is a must have in my opinion, especially the Skinny ASH, ASH1 LE or the .22ish show bought variations.

I prefer knives in the 5-7" range to be skinnier, but many people love the .32" CG ASH-1.

Another one you should add to your list is the NMSFNO.

Don't ya love peer pressure :D?

NICE!!!
I traded my CG ASH 1 and now feel a void was left in my collection. I'm on the prowl for another.
It is REALLY amazing how balanced the .32 thick ASH's are.
Hope you can post some user pics of 'er!

I-D, your on the mony Bro!!! I have 7 and 3 are Fatties. Hard to believe how a .320" w/standard or Mag grips can be so fast in the hand. I think they are great myself...

Sorry Infi-del i guess I meant beautiful, natural outlaw?(kinda new) Anyways thanks for the correction. Good looking steel ya got there.

Infi-del, your a beautiful Natural Outlaw with a nice double cut ASH1! Is that what he meant?:D:D

Nice score.

I miss my Ash1 Cg. It had canvas mags, stripped and convexed. I can only hold on to so many, and it got ousted by my SarQ.

The Gw got ousted by a BAD. FBMLE was ousted by a B11, and KZII. The
CABS ousted the SS. The MUCK did not replace anything so it is guilt free!

It is a vicious cycle!
