Is the Perrin PPT. I really like this knife so far. I think its funny that I picked up a Strider SNG a few days before this one and as soon as this one came in I put down the Strider and haven't been able to put the PPT down yet.

It feels solid (I'm a fan of lightweight when you need it, but this thing's weight gives it a nice balance/feel).

Since I'm right-handed, its anti-lefty build features don't necessarily bother me, but the choil that I thought wasn't going to be enough for me actually works well with the extended jimping way down towards the swage.

The only thing that bothers me is the spine/tang of the blade sticking out when closed and honestly, I think I can get over that as a part of the design as opposed to a flaw.

The action is different than most Spyderco liner/frame lock knives in that its not as glass-like, but its not gritty either. The ball-detent holds this blade in like a clamp - overcoming that with a towards-the-tip motion of the thumb (in the spyder hole) makes it fling open and easily lock securely into place. The hybrid liner/frame-lock locks up nicely at about 40% and no blade-play.

I really like this knife (I'll post pics later when I get a chance).

I've heard nothing but good things from folks who've picked up a PPT. It's a good lookin' knife. Looking forward to your pics!

I like mine, too! I'm also a fan of the clip on the PPT. Very deep carry! Goes well with dress / business attire. I think the corrugated G10 is cool, too.

I have to ask, how is the thickness of the knife tolerated in-pocket, especially in business attire? I'm on the fence for this very reason.

Just placed my order for this knife and will have it tomorrow. Opted for Next Day delivery because I need this knife, not want, but NEED!!:D:thumbup::)
