Another great knife from Busse Combat - and for me it's a keeper
Due to the growth of my family and the growth of expenses connected to this :D my wife forced me to make a promise: NO NEW KNIVES for at least A YEAR  With so many new knives from Busse Combat it looks impossible to make the promise. So I decided to only keep the true keepers and sell the rest to make room for new blades.
First to go was the Boss Jack - as it was much too thick for my liking. It made room for the DSSF - and to tell the truth I'm very very happy about this decision. I love the DSSF ! Light and fast in the hand, but still capable of some not too heavy chopping.
Due to flat ground it cuts well - much better than dc/black canvas boss jack.

It came to me with an AWESOME sheath from azwelke!
Al makes perfect sheaths

Next to go was my Boss street - and now I'm waiting for a Sar3 :D.

As I'm down to only 4 Busses now including the two mentioned and two tank busters that I love - there will be a major problem what to sell when the BusseMuk is out :eek::eek:

I have to whole heartedly agree with you about the DSSF, I have taken mine on to backpacking trips so far and am more then please with its performance!!! For not just its price but also its weight is ideal for these types of adventures. I have also batoned quite a bit of wood for the backyard bonfires too with it. IMHO this is def a top dog pick for being a well rounded blade.

You're wife said, "No new knives". Just buy users and you'll be fine :).

Congrats on the last addition! Glad you like it so well.

I've also been on that "no additions, only replacements" diet for a while now. :o

Nice choice, the DSSF and DSF are my favorite releases this year.
Mine gets used all the time, it's proven itself over and over again.
Nice pics......thanks for sharing

Congrats

much truth....i got mine after handling max's DSSF!;)

Nice looking DSSF, great to see users this good looking.

The DSF is the knife of 2010 for me, it quickly shoved aside my SFNO LE, HR and SAR8 and established itself as my go to knife for the woods.

Dude - welcome to marriage :)

Nice review and (to my ears) recommendation - I may just have to check one of these out. And you are going to LOVE the Sar3.

And I know she adds much to your life. But them Polish girls can be stubborn!:D:D:D

.

Thanks guys!
Turner - I really think you will not be disappointed with this knife.
Actually it looks a bit like a kitchen knife - plain and simple :)
But kitchen knives are the most practical and so is this blade.
