Well I thought I would try something different from my normal production knives and put these together. The small one carves like the devil himself and the big one really bites into wood when used as a chopper. They are 3" & 8 1/4", stacked white birch bark & arctic birch with a corian bolster. I hope to really test them out on the trail later this week.

I like the look of that chopper Jeff, I can't wait to give a try on our next outing.

What is the handle made out of?

The larger knife is corian bolster, Arctic Birch wood, white birch bark spacers, blue spacer in between the birch and capped with a 1925 indian head nickel which the tang passes through & is peened over.

The smaller one is 65 white birch bark spacers with nickel front & rear.
I will never cut that many birch spacers again, a real PITA.:D
