May your wallet be full for more UBDOTDs,

and your yard overgrown with stout weeds,

You have HIKV and for khukuries you will search,

But do us a favor and don't mention "RESEARCH"!

(Dedicated to the Jim Clifton Memorial Federal Building, where its said that if you listen with your ear to the floor you can still here him scream "RESEARCH!!!")

The "Irish Thing" eh boyo? Welcome and good choice! HI blades have lots of Spirit, and the GS is one of the best. Incidently, while this forum is peopled largely by lunatics, a great deal can be learned here about Khukuris, knives in general, and dealing with latent dementia. We do have a Doctor on staff, and the orderlies are fairly competent. Nurses maintain a very low profile.

Also provided is counseling to help understand and deal with the initial onset and symptoms of HIKV. Located at a secret underground facility, the Research Department is continually striving to develop new treatments and a better understanding of the disease.

Again welcome and enjoy your new kuk.

Uncle, I for one at least, should ask him if he gives discounts to forumites and is willing to treat me via e-mail.

Ohhh boyo! Could be a new industry - we've got Cyber Psycho. Definately a niche there.

Cyber Phyche, the only software to rid you and your computer of the dreaded Troglodidic Khukuricus disorder, though first documented in Florida, experts believe it may be spreading...

Symptoms include a percieved need to climb into damp dark caves and horde large curvy pieces of steel. Paranoid delusions of being a hunted/persecuted Researcher are not uncommon, though are typically signs that the disease has reached the end stages---intervention and treatment are crucial for patient's recovery.

I think I'm going to have a conveyor belt installed in the hall leading to my office. Maybe with a robot arm and a syringe.

couldn't resist.

Doc, do we have to check our khukuri's?

------------------
"To Know and to Act are One"

Yes, Finn. For the safety of all our patients, all sharp objects must be checked in. Just hand them to the nice man in the white coat and stethoscope on the way to the seclusio . . . er . . . waiting room.
