Here is one I just finished up this morning that I am particularly proud of.
I bought it of the bay for under $25.00. I bought it because of the Idaho tang stamp. Thought that would make an interesting knife.

Here is what it looked like when I bought it and after I changed the covers and sharpened it.

I believe this is the only Buck 55 I own. I don't see a need for another. :)

Thanks for looking!

Wow is right! I have a few 55's that I bought just to have the scales changed. Still have them sitting here, the scales are so thin it must be hard to do what you just did. Not to mention the curved bolsters. Now you need to do that on a 55 with NK bolsters....they are hard to find.

Mark that looks fantastic. Leroy and JAG may have to sub contract to you when they get busy!

Amazing improvement with the stag scales. Let me know if you're going to list it on eBay. Last week on eBay I had a 110 that you were selling in my cart, and was looking at another, that you had just listed, and they both sold before I had time to commit to the purchase... Lol..

Thanks everyone!!

These are enjoyable to do and a good way to learn more about Buck knives and the way they are made.

I am planning on keeping them either for EDC's or for my collections. This one already had pocket time yesterday. :)

Simply stunning! I would say that you are getting better, but your first efforts were really impressive.
