hi all
so i finaly got my sword it's a dream come true after machine made swords
it's specs are
127cm total length
1.9 kg total
1095 carbon steel flexible and sharp as hell
fuller is crude and only edge polish at my request
handle made of wood leather which hand sawto the wood
handle reinforced to the guard and pommel in the traditional japanese way with habaki clips and disks beside the threaded pommel
scarab made from 2piees of wood glued and wraped by leather and reinforced by 3 steel clips
all the sword is hand made i'm talking about blacksmith hammer envil and the rest of the manual tools...except the tempering, it was tempered twice to make it flexible as it is now .
also the edge sharpen by hand with files sand papers from various grits and japanese water stone
and almost forgot, got a little gift from the blacksmith a small engraving of my surname on the base of the blade
i have just one photo for now i will add more by the next 2 days
