My New Hogstrom Arrived Today

Yes it did, and WOW!!! :eek: What a beautifully made dagger. The handle is a beautiful wood, cant recall the name, the bolster is a stippled rose gold color, with matching pins, and the blade is a semi-dagger profile with false top edge, and distinct clay temper lines, which dont unfortunately show up well in the pictures. I am very impressed with this knife and very happy. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wanting a Nordic dagger type of knife. Worth the price IMO.

Purty! I dig Hogstrom's knives. Could you show us a closeup of the blade too please? I can see a part of the temper line on one of the pics and would love to see the whole blade better.
 
Saw a similar blade also Hogstrom in Blade Mag. with red walrus ivory and sterling silver. Both beautiful pieces. Does Hogstrom have a website? Congrats Mega, on a great looking knife. ec
 
Thanks for the compliments, I too think its a beauty. As requested, here is a picture of the blade with the temper lines, theyre more distinct in person, but tough to capture with my camera.

Hee, Hee, I sold this knife like almost 2 years ago! :) But, now that I have become a real fan of his work, I'm wishing I still had it, thanks so much for reminding me. :)

(Don, you're an excellent knifemaker, but you seem to have a problem with time... :)

I've also become a big fan of Anders' work. You couldn't get me to part with any one of his knives in my collection......
