I wanted something done on my arms that would reflect my desire to maintain sobriety, more so for me than anyone else. In the end, I decided on the inspirational phrases that are framed and mounted throughout the room. They look nasty right but that's only b/c of the scabs. Couldn't wait til they healed to take a pic.

... Taking a pic of your own arm is harder than you think ;p

Is it like chasing your own tail? :D

Hey solid, nice to see you. I was wondering where you disappeared too thought you had dropped off the map, but guess you are just takin' a break from whine and cheese.

Looks like you are pretty committed.

I fell off the wagon, that's what happened.

Good to see you're back SS

From my experience, getting on the wagon is far easier than staying on.Good luck man :)

Somebody outta write a note to "management" and tell them to fix the suspension on that wagon... the ride isn't stable at all.

ya goin' to meetings? ya listening to what you're hearing? ya gettin' involved? If not, it is probably not the "wagon" that needs adjustin'...
all da best,
rats...

Good luck with the battle. I just hit 1 year sober this last Turkey Day. Keep going to meetings and volunteer for a position if you have the time. I'm not as active as I'd like to be but I work 2nd shift which is ackward.

You're exactly right. Had a good 2 hour long talk with my sponsor last night. I'm gonna have one hell of a 4th step.

SS, I have been wondering about you. Love reading your posts, then you fell off the map. Glad to see you are OK.

One day at a time, and when you are new, some times it is one precious little minute at a time. You are not alone! I am here to help!! God bless you. Keep your Higher Power in one hand, and AA in the other, and you will NOT have a hand to pick up.
