I've had an adventure filled weekend and my Izzy was very handy. Saturday my brother and his 2 kids, my daughter, and I were horseback riding all day. My brothers horse had some burrs tangled and knotted in her mane and tail that the Izula took care of in short order. A broken strap of leather on one of the bridles needed to be cut off and replaced. One of the doors on the horse trailer got kicked and bent out of shape so we cut a section of rope to secure it shut. My bro was very impressed with the knife. I may have to get him one for his upcoming birthday. Went fishing today and the knife had a few light cutting chores to do on an anchor rope and of course cutting fishing line on some leaders I tied. This is a knife that is perfect to have on you as an everyday cutter, I LOVE it! My other Izula is in my BOB in the truck. The one I carry currently has a wrapped handle and I'm happy with it, but with everyone bragging up the scales I may have to get a set and give them a try. Now I'm trying to decide which ESEE I should get for camping and hiking. HHMMM?

good story!
for hiking and camping, I'd suggest a 3 or a 4.
you can check my vid of the rc-4 on the west highland way to see something about that (see signature)

You will really like the scales, they are well worth the money spent, and you will wonder why you waited so long.

I would recommend a 4 or a 6 for your camp knife, depending on personal preference, I think the 3 is a little too small for a camp knife, but thats just my opinion of course.

Enjoy those scales!!!
