Well I ordered an "Izula" kit and grip panels from "Patriot Knives" here in the Exchange. I have read dozens upon dozens of reviews here on the boards as well as watched many "YouTube" video reviews. I decided to pick one up because of all the positivity!!! I will tell you I was shocked at the diminutive size of the "Izula" when I first held it in my hand. I have nothing bad to say so don't take any of this wrong. The build quality of the knife and the kit and the grips were as expected "Outstanding"!!! It is just a small fixed blade knife. I am sure I will find many uses for the "Izula" and it will handle all my hunting needs with ease. I was just taken aback with it's O/A size. I am going to my lower Michigan hunting area this weekend to tune up an hunting spot. I hope to use it there and get some photos of it in action. Mean while here are some size comparison photos I took... Did I mention I love the little sucker!!!;)

Very nice. I have been on the fence for a while but your pics just helped me make my decision! I just ordered an OD Green Izula with handles from "Patriot Knives". Nice Colt BTW.

Nice!!! I got mine from Patriot Knives yesterday. USPS did the package to South Africa in 9 days including customs.
Love the handles but tried the chord wrap today and find myself undecided. Small but the ergos are great.
Dropped the knife onto a stone surface today and dinged the blade but good old 1095 was back to normal in under 5 min on the stones/strop!
Hope you enjoy your new knife. I certainly will!

Nice.

Just looking at the dimensions I figured they were small.

I saw the dimension on paper it just never sunk in till I held it...:o:D

That's why I posted the pics, so as to topple any fence setters...;) Good choice!!!:D:thumbup:

Love the Izula! The handles look really nice too. I may have to pick up a set for mine.
Thanks for sharing the pics baba!

The Micarta handles IMO really help the handles, I have fairly large hands and they make the Izula much more comfortable than the cord wrap. For only about $15 including shipping why not?

Well all I got to do tonight with the Antknife was cut some steak a my buddies farm. The wife and I ended up with the grandaughter and that changed my plans a bit. But the handles are the whip! I played around with the Izula without them and duct tape would have been an improvement in my hands. Good thing I got the grips!!!;)
