Check it out guys, its my new EDC and general purpose hunting knife. I am not a knife collector and I am also a bit of a minimalist (i like to travel a lot and belongings tend to tie you down) and i am extremely picky about knives and guns so i wanted to make sure i got it right the first time. These guys are the results of many hours of research including video and text reviews and the recomendations and knowledge gained from talking to you knife nut guys. Thanks for answering all of my questions I LOVE these knives so much, they are a huge step up in quality compared to what ive used in the past, and they will stay in my 3 or 4 knife arsenal for the rest of my days.

Wow! I really like that Bark river.

I might have to see about one of those as a smaller hunting knife. Might just have to pick it up before deer season starts!

i used to edc a sog flash 2 and my hunting was a sog bowie knife or a gerber folder of some sort. i blindly trusted that the sog name meant quality when i didnt know anything about knives and the flash turned out to be a major pos with insane blade play and an extremely weak lock and the aus 8 didnt do it for me. in all fairness the trident bowie knife was really nice but the size of it wasnt ideal and the aus 8 steel wasnt really impressive either. The only other knives i really want now are a larger bark river like maybe a bravo 2 and a large survival knife like a r tak 2 or something.

I am still not quite used american style general purpouse knife after spending nearly 20 first years of my life looking and using nordic style knives and puukko's which look a lot different but I have to say, Bark River Highland Special looks very nice knife, I wouldn't mind one nor I wouldn't mind to have that lovely Para-Mili Spydie...

Good looking knives, Spyderco won't let you down, that I know.
