Picked this up in a trade with Mr. Koster last week. Haven't had a chance to get out and use it yet so I will write a review as soon as I have something to share. It's his 3V Scandi Bushcraft with OD Micarta and brass fixtures. Awesome combo. I think I will eventually get some leather for it but the OD Kydex sheath is great as well. Pictured here you can see it with my Silky Big Boy saw on top of my Maxpedition Mongo. Great tool. Quick run on my leather belt and this puppy is scary sharp. I can't wait to let it sink its teeth in some wood.

First impressions of this knife are good. I commented to Mr Koster that I don't think I've ever owned a knife that was as symmetrical. Usually in the Custom/Semi-Custom knife world you get some variation. Maybe one handle scale isn't exactly like the other. Maybe some variation in the grin on each side. It's to be expected with tools made by hand to a degree. But this knife is EXACT in every curve and angle. You can really tell that Mr. Koster has a taste for precision. This is also my first tool in 3V. Heard a lot about this stuff and can't wait to put it through its paces. At first I thought that the handle was a little fat for what the tool is. But after handling it for a few ours I appreciate the way it fills up my hands. And it's super comfortable in every grip. I can see this knife being easy to control and comfortable to use all day long in any kind of weather. I'll report back later with more of a review. But from just handling it... this seems like quite a well made and balanced tool for the wilderness.

I think the same knife looks made by precision robot machinery ;-)
Only thing is no "perfect" is that grooves in fingerjimp are no of same de deep .

Here's the hilarious part...the grooves were put in by machine (CNC). The rest is all me. ;)

Great review -thanks for posting it!
