Back on 9/19 of this year I snagged a nice Kumar Karda from Yangdu's Deals of the Day. Link is here. The KK was packed really well and in the traditional rectangle box we are all used to seeing. Love when those boxes show up cause I know a new knife has arived. Anyways after unpacking and handling the knife I desided it needed a few mods because the edge and finish were rather rough and the edge was actually blunt/flat in a faw places. So here are the list of Mods I did:

#1 Redo the edge
#2 400 grit finish
#3 Choil
#4 Thumb Serrations
#5 new sheath

Took me a while to do it but in the end it was worth the effort. I took before and after pictures cause I know how much we all like them. This morning I whipped up a photo Album: Kumar Karda #2 Click on the images for a 1024x768 sized pic. The link below the pics were taken at 5MP and plenty big for printing or viewing on Huge monitors if you like. :) Thanks for looking and Please let me know what you think.

Thanks guys, glad you like it. :)

Forgot to mention the specs, so here they are (all aproximates to the 1/16"):

LOA: 10"
Handle: 4.25"
Blade: 5.75"
Thickness: just over 3/16" at thumb serrations. 3/16" for most of it.
Cutting edge: 4.75"
Blade width: 1 and 3/16"

I really like the knife and working on it is fun. Plus it keeps me out of trouble. Not that that is an issue. ;) Please let me know if there are any other details I can fill you in on. Thanks,

Heber
